The Terra Necklace, a necklace that embodies the full force of the sun’s power upon the earth, eroding, consuming, and transforming it into sand, is that very sand found on the surface of the piece: silver dust delicately adhered to it.
The piece was crafted using the chiselling technique, starting with a sheet of metal that was gradually shaped with chisels and hammers. It is a work of handcrafted silversmithing. The reticulation technique was applied, and a patina was used to give it an oxidised texture.
